The Allan Ramsay Suite

Allan Ramsay was a regular visitor to Prestonfield, in 1736. He embarked on a Grand Tour of Europe with Prestonfield’s owner, Sir Alexander Dick.
The painted scenes in Prestonfield’s Italian room still provide a sumptuous souvenir of those travels. Our twenty-first century guests now find every indulgence in one of Prestonfield’s largest suites, overlooking our lawns and grounds.
The Benjamin Franklin Suite

The Benjamin Franklin suite is named after the illustrious founding father of the United States who stayed at Prestonfield in the 18th century.
Besides the exuberant bedroom and en-suite, this suite offers all you need to entertain. A sitting room and a guest bathroom lined in Venetian glass mosaic. Other notable features include the antique chaise-longue and walls of trompe-l’oeil drapery.
The Owners Suite

Prestonfield's most opulent and indulgent suite is entered from a private turret stair and hallway.
Dramatic and romantic, this lavishly furnished suite comprises of an entrance lobby, a bedroom with a library-style bathroom and a large separate sitting room. There are exceptional views over our lawns and gardens in three directions.
