Celebrating The Queen's 90th Birthday

Over 200 guests gathered at Prestonfield on Friday to celebrate the twin landmarks of the 90th Birthday of HM The Queen and the 40th Anniversary of The Prince's Trust.
As the band of Her Majesty's Royal Marines played on the lawn guests enjoyed an al fresco afternoon tea with silver cake stands piled high with thousands of home-baked cakes, scones and finger sandwiches. All of Prestonfield's afternoon tea favourites were there alongside irresistible Coronation chicken! Even the tea was special - Prestonfield's Own Blend from the Holyrood Tea Estate in Sri Lanka flown in that morning!
The Prince's Trust is important to Prestonfield. It is our main house charity and some of our team joined us from the Trust. We were thrilled that our generous guests donated heavily, raising over £40,000 to support the work of The Prince's Trust here in Scotland. As a result of their generosity the Trust will be able to transform the lives of a further 40 young people in Scotland.
